My Electoral College Predictions

Here are my predictions for the Electoral college... The grey states are pure tossups. As you can see Obama doesn't have that far to go to win. Alaska could be in play also as the indictment of Ted Stevens could have an affect on republican voter turnout.

Update 09/26/08: I updated my pics to include two final scenarios. An Obama squeaker and the best possible for an Obama victory.

Update 09/18/08: I updated my map and as you can see I have Obama inching ever so close to the magic 270 number. The grey states are pure tossups but I really do think that Obama is underpolling in a number of states as a result of the protracted primary season. As a result voter registration numbers are up, most notably in Ohio where registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans by 900,000. I think the Obama campaign's expanded playing field strategy will pay off with him winning a few surprise states because of the expanded voter registration. Finally, with the nomination of Sarah Palin, I no longer believe that Alaska could be in play.

Update: Check out 3BlueDudes Electoral Projection Database. It has links to a ton of Electoral College Prediction websites. They were nice enough to include my predicitons also...
